A collectible porcelain art object born from the collaboration between Inkclaw and artist Fuhai Sun.
The Chinese Tiger Porcelain Jewelry Irregular-shaped Tray reinterprets the traditional tiger motif through a contemporary Eastern visual language, combining Chinese symbolism, tattoo-inspired composition, and the refined permanence of underglaze porcelain. Fierce, watchful, and composed, the tiger carries a symbolic presence of protection, strength, and quiet authority.
Unlike surface decoration, underglaze painting is created directly on the ceramic body before being covered with a transparent glaze and fired at high temperature. Through this process, the artwork becomes permanently embedded within the porcelain itself — protected beneath the glaze rather than resting on the surface.
The result is an irregular-shaped porcelain tray with a sculptural presence and lasting visual depth. The black-and-white tiger composition is framed by a soft, organic silhouette, giving the piece a balance between traditional Eastern imagery and contemporary object design.
Measuring 220 mm in length, 160 mm in width, and 25 mm in height, this piece is designed as a jewelry tray, tabletop display object, and collectible porcelain artwork. When a custom bottom mark is applied, the original INKCLAW and Fuhai Sun artist signatures will still be retained in a smaller format, preserving the authenticity of the collaboration while allowing each piece to carry a more personal mark of ownership.
