Inkclaw Phoenix 3.0 Max wireless tattoo battery grip is made for tattoo cartridge needle users and is compatible with most rotary and direct drive, as well as spring tattoo machines on the market. Compared to 2.0 and 2.0UB, this version has the following major features and changes. Firstly, the 3.0 max wireless tattoo battery grip adopts a twisted changing needle throwout without changing the needle's facing direction. Secondly, this version has a larger color screen and an added menu program. Moreover, the interchangeable backstem design allows the 3.0 max wireless tattoo grip to become more flexible and able to compatible with as many types of tattoo machines as possible.

An extension cable that can be forced to charge at 9V. The Type-C connector is the output port, and the female connector is the input port that connects to the charger. The first function of this cable is to wake up the battery if it has not been charged for a long time, resulting in battery power failure. The second function is to force 9V for fast charging.

Menu & Operation

Long-press the power button, a progress bar will appear on the screen, and when the progress bar turns green, release the power button to successfully activate the grip. Press the - + buttons at the same time to enter the grip menu interface.

• Timer Reset - This grip has a memory mode for the timer and needs to be reset manually.

• Jump Start - Jump-start is an 8V 0.3-second start mode (When the Main Screen displays a flashing sign, it means the Jump-start mode is active).

• Mode - Regular | ECO. ECO mode includes an energy-saving program; after 5 minutes without operation, the grip will enter sleep mode and the screen will turn off.

• Exit - Exit the menu and return to the main screen.

• Power Off - Turn off the grip | You can also press and hold the power button to turn off the grip. 

Compatible With Cheyenne Tattoo Machine 

1. First, connect the backstem tube to the Cheyenne machine and make sure the connection is tightened

2. Insert the backstem tube into the grip, adjust the needle so that it is flush with the needle tip, and then use a 1.5MM hexagonal wrench to tighten the middle tube clockwise through the lock hole at the backside of the grip.

3. When charging the grip, please pull out the backstem tube or use the L-shape type-C cable.

Compatible With Rotary Tattoo Machine (RCA or Clipcord Connection)

1. Pre-test before assembling: directly connect the machine to the grip to check if the machine can be active 

2. Adjust the correct backstem tube length to fit different rotary machines 

3. Choose the correct push rod length

4. Insert the backstem tube into the grip, adjust the needle so that it is flush with the needle tip, and then use a 1.5MM hexagonal wrench to tighten the middle tube clockwise through the lock hole at the backside of the grip.

Usage & Maintenance 

• Compatible with Cheyenne Thunder 7 Volt (Round Liner) : around 4 hours (0.2amp current)
• Compatible with Dan Kubin 6 Volt (Round Liner) : around 2 hours (0.4amp current)
• Compatible with Black Tortoise Basic (Round Liner) : around 2.5 hours (0.35amp current)
• The usage might be so different from machine to machine, the influencing factors are complex (rubber, resistance level, etc), therefore, coils are not so recommended ( usage will be really short)
• Since the adjustment part of the tattoo grip is fixed with an O-ring, please pull it out straight and shake it left and right to let air in when disassembling. This way, you can remove the adjustment end of the grip with the right touch. Do not use brute force to disassemble it. 
• Grip Body can be wiped externally with cold sanitation products.
• Please keep the battery charged. If it is out of power for a long time, the battery will be drained, and the cell cannot be charged.
